San Francisco Song Festival's Mission

San Francisco Song Festival was founded in 2003 with the vision of exploring the inspiration of composers, poets, and singers by building a bridge from the creative impulse to public performance.

The festival realizes this vision by serving as a nexus of collaboration between artists, and developing local audiences for art song. San Francisco Song Festival supports the early careers of composers and singers by featuring their work in a variety of contexts.   While offering a compelling series of vocal music recitals, the regional festival facilitates the artistic growth and participation of students, emerging artists, and established professionals at all levels.

Interested patrons or participants are invited to contact the festival Director for further information.
